Letter: America’s absence at COP30 is disgraceful

The fact that the United States did not send an official delegation to COP30 is nothing short of shameful. Climate change is accelerating before our eyes with communities across our country, and across the planet, already paying the price for the decades of political inaction and cowardice. To simply stay home signals that the U.S. is willing to abandon its responsibilities and walk away from the very problems we helped create.
