Letter: Are representatives up to climate policy challenge?

As the general election approaches, and recent disasters due to hurricanes, heavy Kona-low storms and brush fires are on locals’ minds, I wonder if anyone gives thought to what is likely behind the increased incidence/severity of such tragedies — our warming climate. Is this even on voters’ minds?
