Letter: Bright road markings might reduce deaths

Regarding the recent Honolulu Police Department campaign to reduce traffic deaths: For years I’ve contacted legislators and officials suggesting that the most dangerous crosswalks should be painted in fluorescent colors. Bright yellow lines are that color for obvious reasons.
