Letter: Broken promises led to demise of Falls of Clyde

I was one of the legion of keiki (now kupuna) collecting nickels in cans labeled “SAVE THE FALLS OF CLYDE.” We did raise our share of the money, with newspaper reporter/history buff Bob Krauss leading the charge. Local businesses donated funds, too.
