I would like to thank all those involved in helping my wife get proper medical services after she fell at the top of Makapuu Point Lighthouse Trail. She fell onto the pavement, received a deep gash in her forehead and started bleeding profusely. There were three good Samaritans who happened to be at the top of the trail. One called 911 immediately. Another was an ER nurse from Queen’s Medical Center, who provided gauze for me to use. The third was an EMT from Missouri, who took over for me until the the fire department, EMTs and police arrived.
