Letter: Carbon cashback can help meet energy goals

I agree with the recent Island Voices column, “Laser focus on Hawaii energy security,” published on Oct. 19. I would like to add another element to the mix, one that promises to lower greenhouse gas emissions by 10%-13%, according to a study by the University of Hawaii.
