The brutal slaying of Alex Pretti, an intensive care nurse, by federal immigration officers has sparked outrage and condemnation across the country. The Trump administration sought to portray Pretti as a domestic terrorist. However, multiple videos of the incident depicted a different picture. It was the federal officers who acted viciously while Pretti was helping a woman who was violently shoved to the ground by the agents. He was pepper-sprayed and wrestled to the ground before he was shot several times by federal agents.
