Letter: Checks and balances, justice will hold fast

A letter writer suggests many are or ought to be afraid of what President Trump allegedly is “doing to our country” (“Stand against destruction of American democracy,” Star-Advertiser, May 26). The suggestion is the president is endangering our form of government and placing democracy at stake.
