Letter: Council member must put community first

For years, I messaged Manu Powers asking for help in protecting Keauhou Bay while she was president of the Daughters of Hawai‘i, including telling her about thousands who signed an online petition opposing Kamehameha Schools’ proposed bungalow resort. I received no response.
