Letter: Don’t ignore blaring siren of climate change

I was beginning to really worry. The same business folks, unable or unwilling to deal with the reality of impending severe climate catastrophe, keep clamoring that we should slow down and ignore the immediacy of what is happening all around us. So, thank you to Charley Ice, who shakes us awake (“Resistance won’t make climate change go away,” Star-Advertiser, Letters, July 15). Pay attention to what Dr. Chip Fletcher makes clear (“Rolling back climate scenario does not roll back climate risks for Earth or for Hawaii,” Star-Advertiser, Island Voices, July 12). Take climate change consequences seriously and act now, full tilt, with all available resources.
