Letter: Don’t let cellphones and screens ruin mealtimes

How true it is that screens eat up precious time at the dinner table. I’ve seen that happen so many times, even though the three daily meals should symbolize the bonding of family and friends as we eat and share stories among ourselves. Turn off the television, as well as the cellphone. This is, or probably is, where most of the blame lies: interaction is lost or ignored.
