Letter: Emergency Management workers do stellar job

I would like to recognize and thank the hard-working City and County of Honolulu Department of Emergency Management (DEM) during the recent Kona-low storms and busy hurricane season. The DEM team has done a wonderful job orchestrating the city’s emergency preparedness, resources and response with its fellow government agencies, utility partners, nongovernmental organizations and community partners to keep us safe.
