Letter: Firefighters should have rescued flood victims

After reading Sunday’s paper, I hope there was a misprint about not helping the people who were in trouble from the rain over the weekend (“Flood victims question HFD response during crisis,” Star-Advertiser). There should have been some very long rope on the fire trucks and one fire fighter could have tied one end to himself, and the other firefighters on the other end, to pull him and people in need to safety.
