Letter: Funds used to sink Falls of Clyde can help save it

Why is Hawaii’s government persisting to spend millions destroying the 1878 sailing ship Falls of Clyde, which I visited multiple times as an amateur maritime historian? Wouldn’t it be much more sensible to use the funds to assist the Scottish group that has been trying to save this magnificent monument to Hawaii’s history, which of course is also part of Scotland’s history?
