Letter: Genetic study opens sea of possibilities

The article suggesting that a genetic study proves Hawaii was first settled by voyagers from Rapa Nui oversimplifies the findings and may be incorrect (“Oceanic voyage,” Star-Advertiser, Oct. 21).
