Letter: Global supply weakness should void LNG plan

Robert Pearsall’s Island Voices commentary on liquefied natural gas price volatility makes a good case that we need to continue to use renewable energy, as it is obvious now that fossil fuels cannot be relied on as dependable, firm power (“LNG price volatility too rich for isles,” Star-Advertiser, May 12). No longer can we ignore the frailty of the global supply chain. He details his arguments eloquently and persuasively.
