Letter: GOP in attack mode as polls plummet

Since January 2025, the GOP has mostly catered to the richest 1% while ignoring kitchen table issues. Its long list of broken promises, resulting in dire health issues and higher costs, is now recognized by about 75% of the population, while the other portion believe whatever Donald Trump says. GOP members know they are doomed in November.
