Letter: GOP needs to address issues, not pledge fealty

According to a recent online news article, Hawaii Republicans are focused on a national strategy to get out the vote this fall. The key to that, Hawaii Republicans were told at their state convention in Ewa Beach, is to inspire hardcore Donald Trump supporters. During the strategy session the Party passed “memorial resolution,” with praise for leaders and resolved to put up a unified front.
