Letter: Harness copious tidal power to juice up EVs

Referring to the Hawaii EV article, which I enjoyed very much, I agree the owner can install solar panels, which is about as smart as any one EV owner can be, so highly recommended (“EVs can drive energy independence,” Star-Advertiser, Island Voices, June 16).
