Letter: Hawaiian Telcom error leaves customer in lurch

I have been a customer of Hawaiian Telcom since 2004 and have always paid my bills on time, but on Jan. 1, after requesting paperless billing, my internet and landline service were cut off without notice. That did not stop the bills from coming in every month. At one point, it was up to nearly $600 owed, with a collection agency threatening the ruination of my credit.
