Letter: HMSA trying to solve a problem it helped create

HMSA Medical Director Dr. Stephanie Park said in her opinion piece on Sept. 13 that a way to address the shortage of medical providers in Hawaii would be the proposed merger of HMSA and Hawaii Pacific Health (“A dynamic solution to doctor shortage,” Star-Advertiser, Island Voices).
