Letter: Hold athlete accountable for crude commentary

It’s been over a month since Arch Manning told a room full of sports writers that an AI video of the University of Texas coach slapping and knocking down a female reporter was hilarious, and the room erupted in laughter. The next day Manning apologized. The Star-Advertiser carried the story (“Manning sorry for joking about AI video of violence against Rowe,” Sept. 16).
