Letter: How to safely dispose of medical needles, sharps

The Drug Enforcement Agency’s National Drug Take Back Day is on Oct. 24, allowing Hawaii residents to easily dispose of expired medications. But for residents who rely on injectable medicine, medical sharps require a separate disposal process.
