I recently read an article about the search for Honolulu’s next police chief and the hiring of Public Sector Search & Consulting Inc., an expert California firm that specializes in the selection of the most qualified police executives (“Police commission hires firm to find next HPD chief,” Star-Advertiser, Jan. 15).
