Letter: Laniakea bypass a new road to same old traffic

The state Department of Transportation is kicking the can down the road. After enduring 20-plus years of traffic jams, horrible accidents and waiting for a DOT solution, the Laniakea bypass road is exiting into the same situation it was designed to alleviate.
