Letter: Lawmakers responsible for languishing schools

It should be of concern to all voters to read about failing electrical, plumbing and structural systems at our schools. What are the legislators doing by allowing schools to deteriorate in a fashion similar to the leaking roof at the convention center and the leaking state Capitol pool? Do they allow their homes to have these problems?
