Letter: Let airline workers wear small symbol of the isles

Perhaps the Alaska and Hawaiian airlines flight attendants would be willing to wear a kolea pin in lieu of flowers (“Dual airline brands create some pushback,” Star-Advertiser, May 25). Both Alaska and Hawaii are home to the kolea (golden plover); and, the kolea are famous for “long haul” flights.
