Letter: Local police, National Guard must not aid ICE

Following up on a recent article regarding Honolulu Police Department staffing, it seems to me that one thing we could do about our shortage of police officers is to declare that they will not be helping Immigration and Customs Enforcement do their dastardly deeds in Hawaii (“Honolulu City Council launches task force for HPD shortage,” Star-Advertiser, July 21).
