Letter: Lying politicians should face dire consequences

A recent letter does well to point out courts should have the final say in the factuality of arguments (“Checks and balances, justice will hold fast,” Star- Advertiser, May 29). That is because in a court of law, truthful evidence and testimony must be presented or else perjury is committed.
