Temporary protected status was offered to Haitians and Syrians around 2011. These people were fleeing horrible, life-threatening conditions in their countries. Since coming to the U.S., they have settled into communities, got jobs and are raising families. Now, the U.S. Supreme Court has canceled TPS, uprooting these people and families again, sending them back to dangerous situations.
