Letter: No feeding wild animals, they don’t need our help

I have been using Ala Moana Regional Park for more than 15 years. I am alarmed at the long-term effects of people believing it is kind to feed wild animals in the park. The numbers of cats, chickens, pigeons and mongooses were far fewer or nonexistent not that long ago. They have dramatically increased.
