Letter: Only sure thing in bad weather is loss of power

With all the different weather models arguing like aunties at a baby luau, and the meteorologists tossing in their two cents, this thing they call forecasting should really be renamed “after‑ casting.” Only when a storm is two hours from sitting on our laps do the models maybe get it right. Plus all the cones of uncertainty. There’s only one prediction we can trust: We will lose power. And that’s a cone of certainty.
