Letter: Outdoor cats are more of nuisance than dogs

By some estimates, Hawaii has more than 2 million free-roaming cats. The recent Star-Advertiser articles and op-ed bits about dogs pooping in parks are a distraction from the real health and environmental emergency — outdoor cats (“Consider park uses, users before inviting on-leash dogs,” Star-Advertiser, Island Voices, July 10).
