Letter: Political violence comes straight from the top

Right- and left-wing ideologues argue over whose rhetoric causes political violence. They ignore the single greatest imprimatur of political violence of our time. A disappointed election loser formed a mob, riled it and sent it to the U.S. Capitol to assault police, breach the walls, chase Congress into hiding, and engage in a destructive rampage while searching for leaders and the vice president with murderous intent.
