Letter: Primary care docs need more respect, and pay

Responding to a recent letter, primary care plays a crucial role in Hawaii’s health care system (“Give more health money to primary care doctors,” Star-Advertiser, Dec. 12). As a pediatrician in private practice for more than four decades, I understand this thoroughly.
