Letter: Reflecting Pool debacle alarming but expected

The embarrassing admission by U.S. Attorney General (and former Fox host) Jeanine Pirro that the damage to the Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C., was due to a “botched” $14 million installation by a contractor personally selected by Donald Trump, and not due to vandalism by former Olympic star David Hearn (as well as others falsely charged), typifies the Trump playbook of deflecting fault of his own failures.
