Letter: Republicans start wars as political distractions

Is Donald Trump channeling past Republican presidents with his sudden war on Iran? The 2003 Iraq Weapons of Mass Destruction fiasco by George W. Bush (4,500 American deaths, 32,000 wounded), was concocted in part to assuage American anger and to find and punish the culprits of 9/11. All based on lies — mission was not accomplished.
