Letter: Shapiro takes Dems to task for big mistakes

I’m surprised columnist David Shapiro keeps his job. Once again he identifies the corrupt/inept Democratic politicians and their appointed officials for two new snafus regarding mismanaged, delayed and massively over budget projects (“Steaming in the classroom and fleeced at the ballpark,” Star-Advertiser, Volcanic Ash, Aug. 17). I doubt these are mistakes; they are so deliberately planned to extract the maximum amount of taxpayers dollars to line the pockets of politicians and developers.
