Letter: Sheriffs can aid traffic enforcement on Big Isle

As a frequent visitor to the Hilo International Airport, and as a law enforcement officer, I know that there are two sheriffs assigned to the airport, as opposed to none while I was working there. There are hardly any drivers who blatantly go over the speed limit at the airport, and I can’t think of a traffic fatality that occurred there recently.
