Letter: Show compassion to Hawaii’s feral hog population

Why in the world would the Star-Advertiser publish the awful article about feral hog control (“Texas has various ways of dealing with feral hogs,” Nov. 16)? Is Texas our new model for handling problems in Hawaii? Let’s hope not.
