Recently I took my grandson to the Honolulu Zoo — what a disappointment. The facility was poorly staffed and its nonexistent budget has made it an eyesore. The lack of maintenance to the grounds and lack of animals on display are pathetic. Politicians need to spend the money to improve conditions or turn it into a park.
