Letter: Swimming name for Pearl City park pool

It was gratifying to hear that the Pearl City District Park’s pool was renamed Kenneth Suenaga Pool for the many years this man has dedicated to teaching, training and endlessly pursuing advancement of the program. His hope was almost realized when the City Council included an Olympic-sized swimming pool in its Waiau District Park Master Plan. Sadly, the master plan was withdrawn by the following administration.
