Letter: Treatment of livestock is extreme animal cruelty

The outrage over a rock thrown at a seal may include some hypocrisy (“He who messes with a seal is messing with a lot of us,” Star-Advertiser, May 31). As outrageous as the rock-throwing incident was, it pales in comparison to the treatment of livestock on huge factory farms.
