Letter: Use cameras to catch and ticket speeders — now

Referencing the threshold at which Honolulu’s new automated speed enforcement camera system is triggered to issue tickets, state Department of Transportation Director Ed Sniffen recently told the Senate Ways and Means Committee to “rest assured that we’re not ticketing at 11-plus right now.”
