Letter: When booing a leader becomes a patriotic act

A recent letter writer implies that when people boo Donald Trump, they’re also booing the country, implying that they’re unpatriotic (“Love of country should trump personal politics,” Star-Advertiser, June 17). This is not true. The writer should keep in mind the famous quote, “My country, right or wrong; if right, to be kept right; and if wrong, to be set right.”
