Man, 30, indicted for attempted murder of parents seeks to represent himself

A 30-year-old man, indicted on attempted murder charges in the June 2025 hammer attack of his parents at their Waikiki apartment, told a Circuit Court judge presiding over his mental fitness hearing Thursday that he would like to represent himself.
