The 26-year-old Colombian man who in 2022 strangled Gary Ruby, a 73-year-old Hawaii Loa Ridge man, in his luxury home then buried him in bagfulls of cement in a bathtub, was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison with the possibility of parole.
