According to Maui’s medical examiner’s office, the 19 year-old Maui woman killed over the weekend died of multiple traumatic injuries.
Failagi Laloulu of Kahalui was walking on Honoapiilani Highway in the early morning hours on Sunday when she was hit by two vehicles.
The first one, a pickup truck heading towards Lahaina stopped.
The second one, heading towards Wailuku did not stop.
Police are still looking for that vehicle and its driver.
