Nanakuli joins campus safety pilot program

With the first day of school set for Monday, the state Department of Education and Honolulu Police Department are expanding their school resource officer pilot program to a fourth Oahu public school — touting first-year results as fewer student behavior incidents, stronger relationships between students and officers, and safer campuses.
