Off the news: FEMA boots on the ground after Kona low

It’s a relief to know that the Federal Emergency Management Agency is still on the job, post-Department of Government Efficiency and -Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem. Teams arrived in the islands Wednesday to begin “formal damage assessments” in the wake of the battering that back-to-back Kona-low storms imposed on the islands.
